conditional acceptance to Accelerated BSN program

Hi!!!

I just received a letter from one of the colleges I applied to, and I am conditionally accepted. They said I will have to finish my prereqs and maintain the 2.5 GPA in order to be fully accepted. Does anyone know if they can reject me after I finish the prereqs? or does this mean I am pretty much in if if I finish the prereqs???

I've been worrying every single day about not being accepted into any of the schools!!! I hope I get into at least one!!!!

You're in... They can reject you if you do not finish your prereqs or do but earn poor grades in them, but I'm sure you have no intention of doing either. I think they just do this so that people don't think, oh, I'm in, I don't have to work hard anymore.

i got into Eastern Illinois University - Lakeview College of Nursing..

I think I got really lucky b/c my GPA isn't even that good (below 3.0), and I didn't even finish my prereqs!!! .. but i think my essay was good, and i got good recommendations... i applied to almost 12 schools just to be safe.

it starts in Fall 2005.. it's a 16 month program... i can't wait to start! congratulations to you too!!!! :balloons:
