Hey guys! I still have a few months before i graduate but I wanted to get a head start on my resume. I have a couple questions for you..
When you are putting down your education, is it appropriate to just put the college you graduated Nursing from or should you put all the colleges you went to? I went to 3 colleges bc I had to move, but if you don't put them will HR think that you are trying to hide something?
I have seen on here that your GPA will help you get an interview but I thought they couldnt ask about your GPA?? I have passed with a C every time so far but a C is 78 to 84 at my school, and I'm proud of that C, as are most ppl in my class!
Also, I stutter when I'm nervous and sometimes can't get the words out when i am confronted with a question. :/ It doesnt happen when i am working and on an everyday basis but i know i will stutter when I am in an interview! I worry about that all the time, so my question is if anyone has ever worked HR what is the first impression of someone who might stutter? I don't want it to hinder me in getting a job.
Thanks for the feedback in advance, every response will be greatly appreciated :)

I worked in HR before I entered nursing.
My first impression of someone stuttering is exactly what you said, that the person is nervous on the interview. Have someone practice interviews with you, they can be the interviewer and ask you questions nursing job questions so you get more comfortable with it.
Do not put your GPA on your resume if you have a C. Only put GPA on a resume if it's outstanding, like 3.8 or more. Otherwise there is no need and HR does not need to know every applicant's GPA.
You do not have to put every college you attended on your resume. Just put the ones you received a degree from.
Thanks 33762FL! That really helps!

Thanks for asking, I also have a few schools but only two degrees. Thanks for the tips.
The only reason you might want to consider putting the other schools on your resume is if you need to "account for time". You definitely do not want to look as if you have gaps in your work and school time, so if you need to do so put the schools on there just so it doesn't look like you did nothing for a long period of time.
