Does anyone have a projected Commissioning upcoming? I do and am told that I have to wait for "scroll approval" from Congress. How long doe this process take? I have been told of my COT date and where I will be stationed but, no Commissioning as of yet.Thanks for any helpJake

Jan 8, 2012 Yeah... i am just wondering when I will get the news. some ppl seem to get the news faster than others on MEPS/ Application approvals/ COT...commissioning etc...So, now that I am seeing some people recieving their green light for Commissioning, I am starting to look for mine.I am looking forward to this...obviously:up:

Theoretically, your recruiter should have put your name on the scroll at the beginning of your application process, because scroll and security clearance take the longest to do. I think my scroll took about 6 months, but it was done as the very first step in my app process which totaled 8 months.

My recruiter told me it takes about 45-60 days for the scroll to be approved...then another 45-60 days to generate appointment orders. That's about how it went too.

You might not get your orders etc. until the last minute but as long as you have a date they will try their hardest to make sure it is kept.
