I requested information on Indiana State University, and the college network contacted me instead. Had anyone had this happen to them before?

I haven't had that exactly but I did use College Network for some of my classes. They sell study guides for the CLEP exams and one you pass the exam then you get credit for the class. A quick but expensive route in my opinion.

Please do a search and check out the threads here about College Network before you make a decision to sign a contract with them -- a lot of people feel they've had a really bad experience.
thanks for your response.

Yes, happened to me as well.......University of Indiana has apparantly contracted out their LPN to RN program to College Net which, in the opinion of several of my co-workers, is not worth the effort (partly because it lacks the structure of nursing school, and the clinical experience to put skills to use as they are learned).

The same thing happened to me. When I contacted the school, they refused to speak with me and I was contacted by TCN instead. I did not want to discuss anything with TCN, as my intentions were to do the program without their overpriced contract. Since ISU did not want to discuss their program with me, my inquiry ended. Be advised that you can do the ISU program without TCN.
