CNS can mean Clinical Nurse Specialist, which requires a Master's degree in Nursing. Hope this helps!

A Clinical Nurse Specialist is an Advanced Practice Nurse with at least a masters degree in nursing with a concentration in a clinical specialty. I'm doing adult health.
