Published

Hello Everyone,

Recently i applied for CNA Training course in one if the Nursing Home i Rhinebeck,NY.They said they will call for an interview.I do not know what theya re going to ask?I heard and read that CNA salary is too low.Is it true in all case.I live in upstate NY.Please help me...

* few more questions:

after this CNA Training i would like to do LPN course,can somebody tell me how is this course?is iit too difficult??

Thank You

Manisha~

You will do well in the course if you pay attention and practice your skills! Work at the nursing home for a bit and if you like it, apply for a LPN course. If you like school in general, consider a RN program too! Also, after you get your CNA license consider applying at the personnel department of the county in which you live- if they have a county run nursing home. You would be a county employee and they generally make more than the private owned nursing homes. You can do it! Good Luck!

if the nursing home does not call check out with state run schools for a possible cna training

cnas do not have typically a very good salary but you will have an idea if medical field is what you want to do with your life

yes, cna pay is low. however it depends on the location. for example, in pennsylvania, cna is higher.
