CNA TEST Help TN

I am currently in CNA school. My skills test is scheduled on May 27th. I am nervous about the skills part because I know there is 27 skills we have to learn. Are there any tips you can give me to help me pass the test? What will the ding you for?

Mine is scheduled for the beginning of May. But I was told we usually over think it. The point is that we show the proctor that we know what we are doing.

Just review the 27 skills and relax ;)

WASH YOUR HANDS! When in doubt, wash!!! You can never wash too much. Hand washing and patient safety are very important and you will fail if you forget.

When taking the test, stop, take your time and think it through. If you forget something, don't panic, just tell the tester what you forgot BEFORE you tell them you are done.

Practice at home. If noone is around, use an "invisible" patient. Talk your way and "do" every single step.

Take a breath. Don't panic.

You got this!!
