I am interested in knowing if i can retest out (Exam) in order to renew my cna license. Am not sure how MD handles this issue. I was a CNA for about seven years while in college. After i got my degree, i never renewed my license so it has since then been expired for more than two years. After, having kids, i have now decided to go back to nursing school. I have taken all my pre classes and only waiting to take my ACT exam to get in. While i was waiting, i thought to go back to and referesh my memory as a nurses aid. But in order to do that, i was asked to go back to school and retake the whole nursing aid class....which is so expensive.
So my thoughts on these issues at hand are should i go back and retake the classes again and incurr all that bill that i could have used for my nursing school or do i wait to just get into the nursing prgm and my nursing training experience over the years will come to me? Are there any free cna training classes out there? Or can i be able to test out on the CNA (nurses aid) exam? Please help and advise as i am really confused here.
