Hello,
I'm thinking about taking a CNA course (10-week nights), but I'm not sure what to expect in terms of work load. For those of you who have taken the course, did you need to spend time outside of classroom at all to study or prepare?
I'm taking a few classes right now and they require a lot of work outside classroom...so I don't want to overwhelm myself. But I do want to get the CNA cert so I can find some kind of work soon.
Thanks!

Personally, I spent zero time studying outside of class. It's all basic stuff and as long as you pay attention in class you shouldn't need to study for anything.

Same here. I only studied a tiny bit outside of my CNA class time. I am the kind if nerd who wanted to dig deeper into the text and enjoyed practicing skills on my kids, but outside study time isn't really required during the class. I DID practice before the state exam so I could be sure to pass my skills.
Thank you both for your answers.
