Clinical research

If you work at a hospital check with the nurse educators and any Certified Nurse Specialist (CNS) they usually are very involved with research. You might also want to check with your local University, Nursing Program, and talk with one of the instructors. I just finished taking a Nursing Research course (RN to BSN) and the instructor for the class was very knowledgeable and involved with research.

Best of Luck!

In hospitals linked with universities there are usually some opportunities. Check the postings under the UNIVERSITY HR, maybe even as specific as the School of Medicine or Nursing HR - it is separate from the hospital HR which is where everyone goes to look. The positions can be hidden that way.

Good luck!

that was really helpful thank you so much

Many research projects do not employ nurses but research assistants that are not nurses. Clinical drug trials though often hire nurses but get extra training.
