clinical job

Hello,

I was wondering if any of you might have advice about how to find a job in a clinic or doctors office or a community health clinic. I have worked ER and ortho, but neither were quite right for me. Prior to going into nursing I was an optometrist tech do I have worked in doctors offices before and enjoyed it. I can find lots of postings for hospital jobs but none for clinical jobs. I do have a BSN but I don't mind that doctors offices pay less. I live in San Antonio so it's a decent sized city with lots of healthcare providers. Thank you for your help.

Check craigslist if you aren't see in any posted on major area health system websites.

If all the clinics are affiliated with the major hospitals their job openings are probably on the hospitals job openings website. For the independent clinics it might be best to go old school and pound the pavement. Just walk in and ask if they are accepting applications. This probably won't work with the clinics that go through a hospitals HR for hiring, but it sure can't hurt to get your name out there for consideration. Good luck!

Check indeed.com's postings. Also research the clinics and doctors offices in your area, look at their websites for job postings, or even walk in with your resume!
