Which one? What are you evaluating?

I am a first semester nursing student. We were given a Clinical Evaluation Tool at the beginning of the semester. It lists all the skills we must perform to pass the semester. There are skills we must demonstrate and pass in the simulation lab as well as at the clinical site. They include taking vital signs, basic patient care, assessments, inserting a foley, passing meds, dressing changes, and such.

Hope this helps.

At the school that I attended, we had to give our clinical evaluation tool to our clinical instructor at the end of each clinical rotation so that they could fill it out. They usually give feedback and write if we passed or failed the clinical rotation.
