CLEP testing

Does anyone know if UTA accepts CLEPS for pre req classes?

Featured Replies

Yes they do and they do not have a maximum amount of CLEP credits that you can transfer per the Academic Partnership Rep. that I spoke with on the phone. UTA does have a list of CLEP credits that they will accept for credit on the testing portion of their website.

Sorry for being stupid, but what is CLEPS?

Thanks!!! And sorry it to me so long to reply. I didn't see that you posted this until today. So, if you reward this a CLEP is a test that you can take instead of taking a class. For instance I'm taking an English CLEP next month. It gives you credit for the class, but no grade. It only gives a pass or fail. So it doesn't raise or lower your GPA. If you have a good GPA it's a much faster and cheaper way to get some pre reqs done! Google it:)

I clapped out of a nursing elective due to National Certification, easy, simple to do and only cost me 25 dollars to clep it!
