Classes to take

Hello! I received my RN associate degree in May, and now I am heading towards my BSN. I have looked into several different schools and I would like to do my whole BSN online (with crazy work schedules, it just works) After talking to a few schools, I was told that I would need to take 25 more credits of liberal studies (gen-eds) and 5 credits for free electives. Since I will be paying for these classes, I would like to take classes that would benefit my nursing career. I was wondering if anyone had any input on classes they have taken that has helped their nursing career or any classes they would have taken to benefit their career! Thank you!

Take statistics and chemistry if you haven't already. They are usually required to get into a RN-BSN program. For extras- take a communications class! (Though not sure if you can find one that's 100% online...since you are usually required to give speeches.) Maybe find a business type class that teaches resume prep and such to prepare for finding jobs.

My program has Medical Ethics as a prereq. I thought it was a good class!
