Classes offered at local high school question.

Do you think it is a good thing or not. My CC says they offer Sociology and I think Psychology (which is also the same school I graduated high school from ) it is right down the road from me maybe an 8 minute drive if traffic is ok and my community college is only about 25-30 minutes from me, BUT..... I would have to take these classes during the day with High School kids, I am 33 and slightly overweight (still working off about 30-35 extra leftover pounds from childbirth 11 months ago) and am thinking that I might get teased once again in high school, we all know how mean kids can be, they think 33 is ancient and don't understand that 30-35 lbs is nothing when you get older :chuckle , so I was just trying to get you input, what would you do, I guess what it boils down to is that I would probably be humiliated if I would get teased or if I wouldn't do so hot in the class that I might get discouraged. Hmmmmm, I think I just figured out that I would rather drive the 30 min to college. Whatcha think????

Isn't this the truth? Totally in agreement.

To the OP, I say go for it. You are going to be there to do your business and get out. Don't knock it til you try it. You may be surprised as to how mature these kids might be. If not, you aren't there to make friends :rotfl: . You go in, take the class and go on about your business.
