Chronicity - how would you rate difficulty level?

Published

Just finished health safety - got a "A"! On to chronicity.. How would you rate the difficulty level of this course? Trying to schedule my time, between kids, microbiology, developmental psych, and job hunting. Thanks for input!!!

Congrats on pass H&S! :yeah:I know this is off topic, but how did you get your A in H&S? I'm going to start reading for H&S soon and wanted to know if you have any study tips/aids that helped you can recommend or did you just follow the content guide. Thanks:)

Thanks for the congrats. I actually had an older version of TCN study guide for this one. I read it cover to cover. For Transistions I read all the material in the content guide. For Chronicity I plan to follow the study guide. Of course, the practice exams are essential.

I think I could have done H&S quicker, not so bad. That is why I am looking to get some feedback on others perception of the difficulty level of chronicity.

thanks!

Just passed chrono last night with a C- only studied for a week, and only used recommended textbooks and i didn't have the money to buy the practice exam...It was more difficult than H&S alot more critical thinking, follow the study guide and make sure you know the concepts in detail. There were some drug questions but not many lots about the different age groups and appropriate nursing interventions for that age. To me it seemed there were two very good answers to choose between and it was trying to choose the best one that i think i had trouble with! I think if i would have gotten the practice exams i would have done better =) good luck!

I am taking my Chronicity exam in about 2 weeks. I feel confident about Culteral Diversity, Pain, Loss but not as much with sensory which is a large part of the exam. Some of the data in the practice exams with Studyguide101 was very dated and no longer accurate, especially regarding post operative care. I spent many years as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and I worry that it will come to hinder me more than help at this point, lol! I really wish I didn't need to purchase those EC practice exams but I am going to have to  Thanks again for your input Tasha!
