hello all,
i have quite the situation in my hands. i was accepted and participating in the bsn program at liu in brooklyn, ny when a problem arose and i needed to move back to florida suddenly. i am trying to get into another school in fl so that i can start (all over again) with a bsn program and hopefully do an accelerated program this time around. i'm very nervous that i will not be accepted! i've got a 3.2 gpa from my previous undergrad from fsu as an exercise science major and great references (i worked at memorial sloan kettering cancer center in nyc for a year.) i took my hesi entrance exam and got a 100 in the math, 89 in reading comp, 90 in grammar, and 86 in the vocab. i took the additional science portions as well and got nothing lower than an 80 in them. i'm not sure where to even being with applications! i applied to university of miami and florida atlantic university. however when i called fau they said -- if you're already accepted into a program -- don't leave it! well, i had too. does anyone have any advice on what i should do? are there any other programs that i could apply to and possibly start in the summertime?
thanks in advance,
ashley
