for everyone who got hired, any tips? or things that made you stand out? Im going to apply the next cycle ☺️

Hi everyone!! I was wondering if those who got a job could share some tips and tricks. What are some things you put into the initial application that made you stand out? Anything and everything will help and is appreciated.

Hi! I would say to really emphasize WHY you want to be in peds! I talked about my personal experiences as a peds patient and they seemed to really love that! I feel like they can tell when people have a sincere connection to this patient population versus those who kinda just think babies are cute LOL. I will say that the ICUs (especially NICCU) are extremely extremely competitive, so if that's what you're going for I would also be open to another unit just in case (on the app you rank your top two units and why)! Also research their mission and try to circle all your answers back to it! Good luck (:

Has anyone seen the application link yet? it said it will be posted today at 9 but it is not out yet. its 9:05 LOL
