change in nclex rn test

hi this is rupinder toor actually i just heard about the change in nclex rn test from april 2010

i scheduled my exam in middle of the april.....i am scared about this change in nclex exam...need help and motivation.....and please let me know what kind of changes the are doing ........

I do not think you should worry, study your contents and you will be okay. Do many questions and make sure you read the rationales for all the questions that you have taken, whether they be wrong or right. Good luck! Mine will be the next two weeks and I feel so tired of studying.

They are slightly raising the passing standard and also changing the percentage of questions from two of the categories. Management of Care will carry a slightly higher weight and Reduction of Risk will be slightly lowered. The website says the changes are minimal. The passing standard is changing by 0.05 logits (doesn't tell me much, but doesn't seem like a lot :)).

I would change your test date to the last week in March and step up your preparation. You can push yourself a little harder to get this advantage. Good luck.
