I am currently an online Chamberlain student. Their ASN-online program is being closed and is not supposed to be accepting students. I do not have personal knowledge of their RB-BSN program.

I am in the ADN- BSN classes. Which classes have you taken? Why did they close the ADN on-line program? I don't know too much about the whole program. Just that it was quick and very expensive.

I am kind of freaking out about the Soc, cultural diversity class; the final is worth 1/3 of the class and is 5 essay questions from all of the readings ( I guess)

Hey,

I am currently in Chamberlain (RN-BSN). I like the program so far. I have 2 classes left and will be done in June. Devry is kind of different. They are more strict than Chamberlain. The only classes that I found difficult were Economics and Statistics but I ended up with a B in Econ, I am still in Stats. The finals aren't hard. I'm sure you'll do fine.

Thanks for answering. I thought I was alone for a while. I'm just starting at Chamberlain and of course only heard bad things since I started. I'm not sure if I'll stay with them or not. I've looked into University of Phoenix, and it all seems the same.

I'm suppose to take Econ in March and I already had the Stats.

Did you take DeVry's Soc, Cultural Diversity? To me, it's hard and I never know what to think. I'm glad that I won't have too many classes with them.

Do you know of anybody finishing Chamberlain's BSN program?

Right now me and 1 friend are doing it, but in March there are about 4 more maybe ( every body is doing research on other schools)

I used to talk to a lady on here who has finished chamberlain. She said that she had a 4.0. She also didn't find the classes hard. UOP has a lot of group work and personally I don't like group work and they were a little higher than Chamberlain. Tennessee doesn't accept UOP's BSN program. I can say that I haven't had any problems with Chamberlain at all. I found Cultural Diversity to be pretty easy, It's a class where everyone pretty much gets their prejudices out. lol...

A coworker completes his BSN in 2 weeks and a couple of us are at different stages in the process. I'm about a third of the way through the Chamberlain RN-BSN online. It's gone well and is suprisingly fast. I have completed the Cultural Diversity class and received an A. There are a few essay questions but I feel you have adequate time to complete them. If you participate in the discussions and do well on the papers you will be fine. Any accelerated program is going to be time consuming, but I find it very doable while working full time. A friend is going through UOP and is not crazy about the group work. There are many different programs out there, all with their own pros and cons. It's important to find one that's right for you.

why did you choose chamberlain rn-bsn program?

just wondering.

I found that the state college that I am at, took all my nursing credits from my ASN, and took all my AA pre-reqs for their rn-BSN program. Its 1/3rd of the cost of chamberlain only $109/credit hour, and I go at my own pace, so I could finish in a year if I want to--- but right now I am just taking 2 classes, I have a family and a full time job so I am not in a hurry for my BSN.

Convenience and time. The local college (Big 10 University)would have required me to take another chemistry, the classes are held three days a week, and another nutrition class. It just wasn't managable with my schedule. I really enjoy working online whatever time of the day I have available. It's not for everyone, but it's worked well for me.

My local university would have cost me far more than Chamberlain will. Also, I probably won't be living in this state when I finish, so I need a school that doesn't mind if I move out of state. I start Chamberlain at the end of this month. :)
