Cgfns

i have had my transcripts verifes by cgfns both for my visa screeen and then again, for several state licences.

i now need them verified for a university course, only to find out that cgfns only verify our transcripts for 3 years and then tell us to get them sent again, as they become out of date.

talk about 'only in america'

how can transcripts sent direct from our educational places become out of date. they are going to be the same ones all the time, they cannot possibly change.

so if any of you have had your transcripts done more than 3 years ago you need to be aware that if you require them to be proved again then you have to re-submit them.

Transcripts do change if you enroll into additional courses or higher studies like masters.

no, you have missed the point. since having my transcripts verified from my 2 courses of education in the uk, they cannot change from there. i am now in the us and if anything is added on then it will be from another college or university, as it would be if i was still in the uk. nothing can change my original transcripts. and its those same ones that are being looked at by the same company who have already taken money to do it.

Don't even get me started on the CGFNS. *sigh* I had such a time it was not even funny. Mind you my story was about the same as most others when it FINALLY became time for me to sit the exams.

If it were not for my hubby here in the USA I would have not pursued it anymore.

I got tired of having my transcripts sent over from Australia ( a cost to me each time ) only to be told they never arrived. A copy always did ARRIVE to my home here but not to the CGFNS.

Oh I will stop right there or I will write a book about the screw ups!!

Hope it all works out for you in the end. Just be patient and keep on them all the time.:idea:
