Hello Hack_ley:
Here is a website I refer to frequently: http://www.nursecredentialing.org/ . It lists all the specialties nurses can earn and procedure/requirements to obtain their certification through the ANCC.
Hope this was what you were looking for!
Good luck!

The AACN provides certifications for acute/critical care nurses (CCRN, PCCN, etc). Their website is http://www.aacn.org

ANCC provides credentialing for a wide range of nursing specialties, including med-surg, which I earned at one point. ABNN provides credentialing in neuroscience nursing (CNRN).
I think you're smart to be looking into this. It makes you more marketable, and it also forces one to study for an exam. I learned a lot when I was reviewing for the CCRN, and I've never regretted getting that credential.
Good luck to you!

It depends on your area of interest. Get some experience before you try to get a certification. You need to get some experience under your belt.
