I know this is a silly question, but where do you sign up for a ACLS class (or any other certification classes)? I am a new grad and am about to start in correctional nursing (psych/corrections are my thing!) I wasn't sure that the prison healthcare system just offer classes like many hospitals do. Any advice?

Some community colleges offer classes for continuing education. You might want to start there....

There are usually private companies that offer ACLS classes, as well as other cont. ed classes. I would just plug in to google "ACLS classes seattle Wa" or wherever you are and I'm sure something will come up.

You can also check out the accrediting organization. For example, American Heart Association should be able to give you a list of ACLS/PALS instructors/classes in your area.
