Central Cali Childrens

Hi All:

Need some advice. I'm a first time traveller and have an offer for the Central California Childrens outside of Fresno. I don't know much about that area. The facility sounds good but in a fairly rural community. Anyone who can offer advice. The start date would be JAnuary with blended pay of $36. Am I being too picky to want San Diego, LA or San fran?

Thanks!

Hi, I am a first time traveler also and accepted a position there for December. It seems like a nice enough town. I tried the big cities but didn't have any luck. Let me know if you decide to take it.

The hospital is just outside of Fresno, a few minutes on the freeway from one of the biggest shopping areas in town. You would earn more in LA etc, but it's cheaper to live in the valley. It's a very busy hospital, with it's own transport teams and Life flights.

On your days off, you will be a couple of hours drive from Yosemite NP and Sequoia/Kings Canyon NP.

Can you say which company you are using or PM me?

I am looking at CA and would love to go to a children's hospital (so i won't be forced to float to adult med/surg)

i only do Peds primarily with low level NICU float..

i am talking to a few co. and HRN seems to be the best so far and they have Peds pos. in CA a lot of Kaiser facilities.

thanks!!:D
