Does anyone know if cedar sinai still has new grad program?

Also, anything over your assigned shift would be OT and anything over 40 HRs would be OT. They will explain everything during orientation.

Anyone looking for a roommate? I'm from the norcal and I will be relocating to LA. I'm looking for someone to share an apartment/house with. Please message me if you're interested =)

Hey Seeta,

I just sent you a message. Let me know when you receive it

So what should we expect at the Human Resource Office? I was informed by Liza it will take 2-3 hours, paperwork, badge etc. Can someone please share their experience? Did you also have to sign a commitment?

Any information will be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

Hi - I am starting Feb 7th - So excited about it!

The HR day was a positive experience, but it did take some time - I was there for about 3.5 hours. HR was at a good pace and of course I loved the part where I got to sign my contract and get my badge! The new employee health evaluation took some time because of waiting - other employees were there for their own appts, etc... not a big deal and everyone was really nice. Gave me time to read some of the materials from HR. I also went to get my parking pass and that was really quick. Then I did the Quest Diagnostics drug screening. People at Quest were also very nice but they were very busy and the wait was about 50 minutes to be seen. If you can do the drug screening before the HR appt, I imagine 2-3 hours is about right.

It was a nice day getting a feel for where everything is located and the parking lots and a good practice run for traffic around the hospital.

Congrats to you!

Did anyone who already went through physical/HR day get a confirmation call a couple of days before they went in?

Do you guys know if they're done calling people?

thanks for the update obiwanjj!

I think you can just call someone in HR and just ask them straight up. When I asked them to check on my application status they just told me I was in the March 14th cohort and asked if I could do Feb 28th instead. Good luck!

I just called HR and I was told to give them until Friday because they are still making calls. Keep your fingers crossed. Good luck!

my friend is still waiting for a phone call. she had less than 3.5 gpa. did they accept anyone who has less than 3.5 gpa?
