CCSF 2021

Hello everyone,

Is anyone else applying to CCSF for 2021? Their application period is opening up on the 20th of January.

Also, if you are/have been a nursing student at CCSF please let us know about your experience with this program, multi criteria points, clinical, etc. I am super curious and would greatly appreciate it.

Hello, 

I will be applying for fall 2021. I read in the previous forums that CCSF doesn't count +/- grades? Can anyone confirm if this is true? If so, I will be applying with 77 points! Good luck to everyone

Yes that is true! Every community college that I know of does that.

 

The applications are now open! I just finished submitting my application, good luck I hope we both get in

Hi guys ! I am planning to apply for the programm at CCSF ,but I found out that they required Statistic now I am not sure if they accept my Statistic from foreign country its been evaluated here in the USA I am just woundering if any one has experience with it?

Hopefully you can join us in applying!

 

That sounds like a complicated question that is probably better suited for one of the counsellors. Have you looked at CCSF nursing website under the "admissions" tab? they posted a few dates where they will be holding workshops to help applicants with the application. I think the first one is on January 29th. Go check it out hopefully they say yes.

 

However I did submit the application and it did not ask me anything about Chemistry or stats which was surprising because I too saw they were requiring those two classes. But probably best to talk to a counsellor about it.

Thanks Sergio! I will definitely ask hopefully they will accept 

also planning to take TEAS in 2 weeks hopefully will get a required score ?

I think if you score 86% or higher you'll be in good shape. That'll give you 25+ out of 30 on that section.

Hi Elialyn,

Yes, unless you fail. If you fail your first attempt, then you have to "complete a remediation plan and remediation coursework." Not sure what that means but its on their website.

But if you didn't fail (I.e. scored 62% or higher) they go by your first attempt

BTW I already submitted my application! The only step left for me is to send in my official sealed transcripts.

Tomorrow they are hosting a zoom meeting to help out applicants. I will be attending. If anyone needs me to ask a question on their behalf I am more than happy to do it, just lmk.

Just got word from the CCSF Nursing instructors. Send in your ATI TEAS official scores electronically with your application and also send in an unofficial copy of it through mail along with your sealed transcripts.

Chemistry and Stats are NOT required for the ADN program!

Straight from the horses mouth. Chem and Stats are only required for the ADN-BSN bridge program but it will not stop you from getting accepted into CCSF
