Moved to the Critical Care Nursing forum.

I have the Laura Gasparis Vonfrolio DVDs that I would be willing to part with. I just took the ccrn a week ago and passed!

Thanks sound great At what price?

I graduated nursing school in 2013, been working in the ER since and I recently passed CCRN. Never seen a swan, or IABP. I recently took on a second per diem job in a level one trauma PACU, so now I use A-line all the time. This book is great, straight to the point. The author tells you which topic to focus on and how questions are usually worded. That being said, for me personally, being that i didn't have any ICU experience, I really wanted to understand the concepts, so the AACN book is what I read to understand the concepts, than I read the Barrons book for key factors and really good practice questions. Great refresher for someone with lot of ICU experience.

Barron's CCRN Exam: 9781438

I loved the Barron's book and recommend it highly!

Specializes in ICU.

Barron on CD rom or just the book?

Also anyone use this CCRN Practice Test, CCRN Practice Exam Questions

I haven't seen it on CD-ROM. I used the book. You get access to an online practice exam with purchase.

I really liked the Baron's book, not too exspensive and very direct. Pass CCRN! has some great questions as a part of its online content.
