2014 CCP Nursing Program

I figured I would start this topic to lower my anxiety just a little. I took the health allied test today and I have to wait till next week to get my scores. I really feel like im on pins and needles right now and I know I'll be a nervous wreck when I actually wait for my acceptance. Before I even got started on my journey to be a nurse I came across this website and It really answered a lot of questions about the application process, and was insightful in other areas of nursing that enabled me to think of more questions for answering. what I really love the most was that in previous years ccp applicants supported each other during the nerve wrecking waiting period on getting accepted. that support was so tremendous that a lot of the applicants bonded and became friends. Is there anyone else that has applied for the 2014 CCP program?

hey everyone! i checked my ccp profile and it has been changed to NURSING!!!! When i added my points up i only had 6pts, so i pretty much gave up hope on being accepted into the program. Needless to say i am beyond excited to start this fall!!!! I still have to take micro and a CSI class this summer ;/

That is great news!! You don't know how much hope you gave me lol. I hope that I hear something over the weekend. If not, I will definitely have to check my score on Monday!

SR_0307 have you selected your classes for the Fall yet?

i have. im not sure if i did it correct tho. I only have 3 classes selected. Monday 8-9 tues 8-9 and then 9;40- 12 something and thurs n fri clinicals.

SR_0307 you should be registered for 4 classes. When you check your enrollment profile they will list as Nursing 101 Lecture, Nursing 101 Seminar, Nursing 101 Lab, Nursing 101 Clinical. So check to see which one you are missing and then you will need to add that course. I have Lec Monday 8-10:40, Lab Monday 10:20- 12:20, Lec Tuesday 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM, Sem Tuesday 9:30-10:40, then of course Clinicals on Thursday and Friday. Wednesdays off.

Here are the Seminar and Lab Course Numbers in case it is one of those you are missing:

Seminar courses are:

40041

40052

40069

40080

40090

40108

47310

Labs are:

40113

42064

42080

42098

42110

42130

42146

42171

42228

47308

You got 6 pts? Accepted to the program?? Congrats!! I have a friend who only got 6 pts and she was like I don't think I will get in. But I will go and text her to double check! :)

thank you! i was missing my lab i just added it for monday 10;20 to 12;20. it would be much easier if they labled them. lol!

SR_0307 you are welcome!! You are so right it would be so much easier if they labeled them.

Surprisingly, yes! I only have a 3.0 which is 3 pts, no F's, D's or withdrawals which is 2 pts, and 1 pt from my AHT. I was so sure i wasnt getting in because of my 6 pts, but i was wrong!

Awesome! I guess a lot of people who applied at CCP got into other schools that they applied to and chose to go there instead. Thus, it explains many slot positions. I have a classmate who applied and got accepted at NP at CCP, but decided to go next year. I told her if she signed the green paper that they sent her and she said no not yet. I told her to send i back to CCP stating she decline the seat, so others may fill in. IDK, if she sent it. Hopefully, she did.

Does anyone know what the tuition will be like since some of the courses have no credits listed?
