Does anyone know for sure about taking classes online with ccconline.org If the exams are online or what? I was interested in taking some classes at ccconline.org ( the branch college colorado community college of denver ) Has anyone taken classes with this college before or know anything about them? I'm needing to take Microbiology and Chemistry.
Thanks,

I took Intro to Chemistry with ccconline and had the Community College of Denver as my home college. All of my exams were online. If I remember right (it was last spring when I took the course), the exams were available for about a week and then closed at a certain time (ie, Midnight on the set day). All of the exams were timed, though. I always had an ample amount of time to complete the exams (like 2 hours), but the little clock in the corner counting down the time always made me nervous:)
To my knowledge, all of the exams for ccconline are online. You shouldn't have to go to a campus for anything.

First let me say welcome to allnurses!
I took the microbiology course with ccconline and it was great. The exams are timed so you do need to prepare for them. I definitely recommend the course but getting information from the home school (CCD) was a challenge.
Good luck and don't forget to check out the "online sciences" sticky:) https://allnurses.com/forums/f125/online-science-courses-can-we-get-sticky-88965.html

For those of you that attended CCD, were there any pre- req's for the BIO courses? And how did you feel about the school? What were the courses that you took? I am thinking of taking all my gen eds, and some nursing ones too. CCD was the only college to offer the nursing courses on ccconline. Any info on CCD would help! Thanks
