CCBC Fall 2014 RN program

Hello I just took my TEAS and scored a proficient at 75& and my GPA is 3.67. I really hope I get in. I figured I would start a thread :)

Thank you. I am not sure what my plan is if I don't get in. I have thought about other routes to take but I get so down about this.

I can not believe they would update some people and not others. UGH! The wait is going to make us all crazy!!!!!!!!!!

I feel the same way but you're not alone. We are all one big support system here.

It seems like those of you that applied to Essex are seeing decision made while Catonsville applicants aren't seeing anything yet. I just checked mine and there is no change. KJ101 - I totally get how you're feeling right now! I go through so many emotions each day. I'm to the point now where I just wish I hadn't thrown all my eggs into one basket. I've researched other options if I don't get accepted. I'm determined to become a nurse one way or another, I know that I'll be good at it. I'm just trying to keep a level head until I know for sure what my fate is! Way easier said than done :barf02:

Fitmom84 I Feel The Exact Same Way!

I applied to Ccbc Essex but I have not seen a change so I'm thinking the worst. I too have looked into other options but I'm already a tech and I just feel I am supposed to take care of people. I'm just scared because there are not many options. The only other option is a different career. At least that's all I've seen.

Heyyyyy now ladies cut that out! We will be nurses and even if we didn't get into ccbc today Harford has a great program that is easier to get into and it starts in may and end in the August of the following year which is 15 months straight and we would be graduating at the exact same time as anyone going to ccbc for thus fall! We'd be winning anyway we slice it! I'm a tech at John's Hopkins and I was born to be a nurse. I will accept nothing less and neither will you guys!!!

Hey guys- hang in there- I just finished my first semester at ccbc- I remember being where you are. I saw that status change to "decision made" about 2 days before the seat fee showed up. I was on pins and needles the whole time. Y'all will probably see the fee today :)

Best of luck, I hope you all get good news!

Still no change in account. This is depressing.

Mine says decision made too with no seat fee. I applied to Essex day program.

I feel like I'm going to throw up. And no matter what there are always other options. If I don't get in my plan is to take chem and nutrition next fall and then apply to spring BSN programs too since we will eventually need that anyway.

Either way! This is not the end!

I'm sure I didn't get in then because mine should say it too. Oh well. I guess I will keep trying but start looking at something else to do. I can not believe how competitive this has become.

Mine status has been updated to decision made. Thanks for the reassurance sparky605! I have no seat fee on my account but am keeping my fingers crossed... I think this wait is going to be even worse than waiting for the decision made, lol!
