yes its similar to paying a deposit.. you are saving your "seat" for the upcoming term.

hah i wonder how i decline my seat.. so that someone on the wait list can get pulled into the program.. maybe?

Just dont pay it. And im assuming if its not paid by a certain date they will drop it and call someone on the wait list

So I just called the school. The gentleman that I spoke with informed me that letters were mailed out Wednesday morning. So everyone should be receiving them between today and Saturaday. I also asked him..... if you do not see a "seat fee" on your account, is it same to assume you did not get in? He said not that the letter is the best way to find out if you got in or not.... I just want to know either way at this point. Hopefully the 4th time is the charm if I did not get in this time!
