  1. I believe u had to apply to there separately
  2. hah i wonder how i decline my seat.. so that someone on the wait list can get pulled into the program.. maybe?
  3. yes its similar to paying a deposit.. you are saving your "seat" for the upcoming term.
  4. nope it just still says "decision made"
  5. well maybe your's isnt updated yet.. or you never know you may be on a wait list.. i know i'm declining my seat in the night/weekend program..
  6. really? now.. i found out via a phone call from HCC.. and the folks at HCC apparently had been telling people over the phone... individually. Though apparently it was mostly because there was a delay in getting the packets out to folk that they finally decided to call everyone in the accelerated program.
  7. has anyone actually called the schools to see if they got in? maybe someone will tell you guys something? Why im still checking im not quite sure but i keep checking to see if i get in... and i've already basically accepted the harford cc WEA program..
  8. oh no.. i got all of that... mailed in my check uber early (i think like around 4/9-10) but to this date they have yet to receive my original check I also got my notification via a phone call from Joann saying i wanted to verify that u still want WEA. which apparently you could have called a week prior to you finding out via a phone call and they would have told you...
  9. they did call me... but whats weird is they never told me that there was a deadline and with real work still being around and taking night classes at ccbc made it really hard to actually get up there from M-F and they called me friday on the 25th to tell me that things needed to be up there by the EOB that day.. though i did get a phone call that previous monday
  10. heh i currently work as a research coordinator at a hospital.. so again non-traditional student. A lot of my coworkers went back as non-traditional students as well, but all the nurses on the units that i know have been telling me that i should def do a part tiime CNA position while going through school for just the reason you stated up at the top.. so after the summer --- will have to start looking for some part time work somehow..
  11. no actually they did NOT get my deposit.. i had to make a special trip up there to hand them a check in person. yes on the uni stuff i picked that stuff up when i went to hand in my deposit.. i also attempted to buy books on the 27th when i was there.. apparently the nursing dept is a bit slow and had just handed them the book list so the order had not been made yet.
  12. heh, like everyone else i've been stalking.. but since i've paid my seat fee to HCC and bought uniforms and registered for classes at HCC (not to mention HCC starts in 2 weeks basically), i guess i'm done waiting for CCBC to get back to me. I wish y'all the best though!
  13. me! did you look at the tentative calendar yet? are you going to be going there on the 6th? and did you have a crazy nightmare regarding the deposit as i did?
  14. so, i had to call since i got accepted into the harford program and needed a bit of a closure on the ccbc front. I ended up calling the program manager (i think?) at essex [not the advisors] during spring break and they said that the letters should be sent out soon.. though soon was this week and i've yet to see anything.
  15. so i talked to someone there re all of this. if you look at the application it says 6-8 weeks from when the deadline closes.. so mid april. In addition, apparently it varies from year to year regarding the point acceptance -- typically if you score a 20 on their rubric you apparently stand a pretty good chance of getting in at least to the WEA program.. and thats the only program i asked about since thats the one i was interested in.
