Ok,so I know this has been discussed a lot here. It's just really upsetting to me,that every single course within reasonable driving distance around me,has such a loooooong waiting time.
Anything else that is remotely medically related, that is on an open enrollment basis, until it gets full seems to be full within minutes.Such as there was a terminology for the medical field class I wanted to take, and I saw it the first day it was posted, called in the morning and it was full. What?
And what really upsets me is that I have to 'move on' with my life while waiting, and I can't put my life on hold. What concerns me is that I will get involved in other commitments such jobs etc,and not be able to even do this again.
I know I'm not the first person this has happened to,it just really stinks

I'm sorry to hear this, the only waiting game that I have been involved with is waiting on my letter for nursing school. I went to a university and never had to wait to get in the class. We got to register on computers and as soon as my time slot was open I would apply. Sometimes, we needed advisors. If there was a class that was closed, I would go ask the teacher if they could fit me in and then they would right a note and I would just take it to the registar's office so that they could override me in. Maybe you should try the same. Also the universities and community college was kinda tied together. For example if you wanted to take a course that was full at your current school, you could take it at another community college and it will still go towards the school that you were currently at. Don't give up on your goals, if you really want to do it, you would find time for it. Good luck!!

Try finding out about online courses from other schools.
I know that DallasCCCD has classes online, and the cost isn't extremely steep.
http://dallastelecollege.dcccd.edu/ .....maybe there is something you could take.
Good luck!
