Case studies in need please help me..

Our subject is all about ethics in nursing. Can someone please share an example of a case study on each topic?

1. Professional relationship issues- more on code of ethics, colleagues, bosses, subordinates

2. Practice issues related to technology - the use of technology

3. Treatment decision

I'm doing my masteral in nursing, I never thought proceeding to this level could be this difficult.. :sniff:

Masteral? What is that? I've never heard that term.

How could anyone give you a case study in an online forum? Wouldn't that just be an anecdote?

Masteral or Masters in nursing... Lol! :yeah:

surely by this level you have experienced ethical issues in your practice. When I did this exercise in grad school I looked at the samples in my textbook, then tried to recall issues that had arisen in practice, whether my patient or not.

I came across one the other day with students. The chart had a post-it on the front that said " do not give pain meds per family". Besides not being a true order, it deprived the patient of autonomy and could have created an ethical situation.

Before anyone else asks Masteral is what they call the Masters in the Philippines
