Hi everyone!

I am thinking about registering this site, but it asks for a membership fee!

I am wondering if anyone have been a member of it! What is your recomendation? Is it worth it?

Do you gain a lot of insights?

Please give your thoughts!

Sincerely thanks

It is primarily for nursing home nurses. It is great if you have total care patients, but really of not much use for patients in the acute care hospital. I know that on their home page they advertise that the site is great for nursing students. You can look at the list of care plans they have on their website, you just cannot access them. There are some strange ones there. They are submitted by members. That doesn't necessarily mean they are correct. I haven't gone into the site recently to see if they have updated their NANDA information.

Great Thanks!!

I personally considered joining this site at the beginning of school. I decided that it would be a total waste of money. A good care plan book is all you need. I like mosby's nursing care plans, and the Nursing Diagnosis Handbook by betty ackley and gail ladwig. you can probably find the sixth or seventh editions on amazon for pretty cheap. the current edition is the eighth but there is little difference between editions.
