Career Advice?

I have been a nurse for 3.5 years now. I have done Med-Surg and Perinatal. I feel like I'm called to geriatric nursing, but I'm not sure what is out there that works specifically with this group. I don't want to go back to Med-surg and I'm pretty sure I don't want to be in a nursing home. Is there other stuff out there I should look into?

Some hospitals have specific geriatric units - particularly the larger ones.

Geriatric psych is a growing field, as are various interdisciplinary programs designed to help more seniors maintain some level of independent living in the community -- assisted living, supervised adult day programs, etc.
