Sorry to hear about the car accident. GLAD :icon_hug: that you are pretty much okay though. Talk to your program chair and instructors to let them know what happened. Maybe they can give you a small break. If you can still make it to class and clinicals then you will be fine.

(((((((Chicklet2 and BF))))))) Sorry about your car accident. Hopefully you
will be able to finish school. Have you spoken to your intructors since the accident? You didn't mention how your BF was doing after the accident. Was
he injured at all? Hope things look up for you soon. :icon_hug:
Thanks for the responses. My b/f has really bad back, chest and neck pain. We think he hit the steering wheel. He also has two really ugly looking bruises on either side of his abdomen and wont let me touch them to see if they are hard.

Hey Chicklet (Love that handle)
When I was in the last quarter of NrsgSchool had similar experience. Comminuted Frx of L Radius. (Translation--non-displaced Frx of wrist).
Had to wear a cast that went from elbow to fingertips. My instructor was GREAT!! Was able to schedule me for Clinicals in all kinds of 'procedures' and OR and such. Didn't affect my Schooling at all.
Don't turn back!!

You need to check with your treating physician and your program. It depends on what your physician recommends and what your program is willing to accommodate.
