I sure hope Temple College and San Antonio Baptist send out their letters soon! The wait is killing me! My trips to the mailbox are the highlight of my day. I just want an acceptance letter already!!!

:cry: I'm sorry...but maybe it's just meant to be that you go to ACC since it's closer to your home. Best of luck and keep your head held high, it will happen when it's supposed to!:heartbeat

Thanks. I hope so too. I am going to contact Temple though, just to find how many points I accumulated. It's strange, considering a previous post mentioned that she just moved here two months ago, and was accepted. I have a 4.0 GPA, and made an 89 on the NET. I've taken classes at Temple, so that should also give me a point. I'm just really frustrated at this point. I'd just liked to know how they based their decision.

The letters form Baptist should go out next week (they better!). I have already been rejected by SAC (I have 20 people ahead of me on a waiting list.) All the cards are on Baptist! Come on already!

Well it was actually me who mentioned just moving here 2 months ago....my husband and I just moved to the area for his job. To be honest, I was a little nervous I wouldn't be accepted to either program ( I also applied to CTC) since I hadn't taken any classes around here. My GPA was a 3.8 and an 83 composite final score on the NET...so if I were you I'd request a hearing and see what the deal is. The only advantage I might have had was I graduated Cum Laude with Bachelors degree, b/c otherwise I received no points for previous coursework at TC nor do we live within their little "residency district".

It sounds absurd that you've been passed over twice....I'd be all over that come Tuesday morning!
