CANNOT believe MIRCRO ...

I havent taken micro yet, so I cant say its easier, but I dont find chemistry too dificult. As long as you put some time into the class and study and practice chem should be fine for you.

I got an "a" on the last test but I literally studied 2+ hours a day, taped the lectures, met with a classmate to study and used the cd rom that came with my book to do it. I was determined. If I can do it, so can you. I swear I thought I was not capable of actually understanding the material but sure enough, after reviewing as much as I did it slowly started to click. Better luck next time. You CAN do it.

well, my teacher is nuts.. plain and simple. he kills EVERYTHING to death. all 15 pages.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying except that you think your teacher is hard.

i'm studying my butt off... first exam i got a 70% and the second one was a 66%. his tests are so detailed, and very very tricky.

Microbiology is a very detailed subject so I would expect the tests to be so. Are you studying enough? Just as a data point, I'm a very good student with a strong science background and I probably put in 15 hours per week studying for microbiology and more during the week of an exam. I also carried flashcards with me and reviewed them routinely during my work week.

don't know if i can even get a B out of this class. i'm just ranting. Hopefully can even get a C. Never had a C before. Never had this much trould with a class.

Have you taken anatomy or physiology? Anatomy is similar to microbiology in the sense that there is an amazing amount of material to memorize. Physiology is similar in that you must apply the vast amount of material to solve problems.

Keep at it an make sure you understand the problems that you missed; not just the information but how you went wrong. You need to learn not just the material but also how to take his tests.

AHH ! is general chem any easier ?

I find chemistry to be much easier than microbiology. There's much less memorization and much more conceptual application and problem solving.
