Can Someone give me some help

So right now I hate my job and my current life, I'm young with 1 child and for awhile now I have really wanted to go to school to have a better life. It just seems so impossible because I'm the sole provider and have nobody that will support me while I go to school. Does anyone here go to school and get a living expense to let them get by while they go to school? I would appreciate anyone who can help me out. If you're in Pa and have any advice i'm all ears. Thanks...

While I do not know anyone that pays for living expenses, if you go back to school for nursing, you will definitely improve your life financially. Give nursing a try. Go to the school of your choice and talk to the counselors. They may be able to assist you.

I went to school with 3 ladies who qualified for Pell grants, Higher Education grants, and filled in the rest with student loans. It was a struggle, they took advantage of food stamps and medical cards too. Now, they came out of school in debt for those loans but they also had jobs, within 5 years all 3 were debt free or close to it, had a nice car, living in nice homes(rented but nice) and could afford to provide for their kids. Yes, there was a total of 8 kids involved.

No one will give you this education, you have to make every effort to find out what is available in your area and then work towards a goal. It is possible to obtain a nursing degree, a good job, and be able to give your child and yourself a better life. Good luck.

P.S. There was lots of prayer involved too.

My daughter was trying it with 2 kids. She get the grants, loans, and tried the welfare route as best she could; but welfare kept giving her the famous runaround after runaround after runaround. Losing her paperwork time after time. Making her resubmit, only to lose it again. ETC. ETC. ETC. All this time, she was relying on the pity and good graces of people around her....going from couch to couch in friend's living rooms, the homeless shelter, and so on and so on. I ended up literally supporting her when I can't even support myself. She would spend the money to live in hotels, not inexpensive, no matter how vermin (both human and animal) infested. And after years of this she finally has a job, not great, but a job. The nursing license? Well, what can I say? There certainly can not be much of a nursing shortage when there is obviously no outside encouragement for this person. And although I will not sing the praises of my daughter, she is no crack whore, deserving of pity. Would I encourage any other young woman, with or without kids to support to run after the nursing dream? Not likely.
