California intervention program

Hello everyone,

I'm possibly going to start the intervention program in California for SUD. Looking to see if anyone has worked with the new program premier healthcare. Just looking for information on how the program is, what your plan looks like, what to expect, etc.

I started working after 8 months in the program. I was able to start working at 6 months it was just tough to get a job with all restrictions at the beginning. I'm an ICU nurse and at the beginning I did not have narcotics access even though I never had issues with narcotics. I started working at Dialysis center and I work there for a year. I now work in the ICU again. When I was interviewing yes I told them I was in the intervention program but not why I entered. I just told them I was in recovery. It though to get job at the beginning but it's not impossible. Now the only restrictions I have is I can't be only nurse on duty, I can't precept or charge and I can't float to another unit.

So, the only restrictions you have now are.....

1.  You can't be the only nurse on duty.  POSITIVE, I will take that!

2.  You can't Precept or be Charge.  POSITIVE and Another win!  I will take that!

3.  You can't Float to Another Unit.  Holy Crap, you hit the jackpot.  All 3 of these restrictions are GIFTS in my opinion.  You got a heck of a deal.  Ask the BON if you can keep these 3 restrictions in place after your contract is up, LOL.  I would love to have them each and every day!
