CAC Reader and iPad?

Hello

Is anyone connecting to military site with an iPad and cac reader besides using the reader and app on militarycac.com?

How else would you do it? You need to download the certificates on that website so your CAC will work.

Still looking for someone that has successfully been able to use their CAC card with an iPad that DID NOT purchase the expensive app/reader advertised on militarycac.com

Honestly, you should consider buying a cheap PC for $300 or so.  Even with a proper CAC reader and installing all the certificates correctly, you're still going to have issues with many military web applications on a MAC.  Every one I know that has a MAC found it easier to just buy a PC for military application.  Or, they up driving into base a lot.

I know someone that actually tried to partition their MAC's hard drive to run both windows and the apple OS 50/50.  They still had problems related to the hardware itself.  They ended up just buying a cheap PC.
