CA RN NCLEX result?

If it takes 30 days to get the results of your NCLEX by mail, how soon can you get online?

I sat my n-clex in june 2003 and had the results 48 hours later. there is an on-line site which I cannot remember the name of, but you can use a search engine to find any, my agency phoned me with the results. I heard a nurse in the test centre ask how long and thats when I became aware that we would get the results quickly.

california board of nursing did not subscribe to the quick results program so results cannot be accessed viaq the internet after 48 hours. just wait for them to mail in your result. i took my nclex for ca rn last 30 nov, i received a passed mark 17 december.

You can also keep checking CA website, when you have been issued a license it will be posted with the number, still faster than waiting for snail mail.

took the test last dec 15...received the result last dec 27 dated dec.24...basically they said its an average of 10 days waiting period for the snail mail...3 days on the rn.ca.gov website...

Look under License Verification. If you have been issued a license, it will be posted there, and usually before you get the letter in the mail.

I definitely suggest that you contact the BON. Before I edited your post, I wrote down your name and checked it against the license verification for the CA BON and it was not there.

Did you write the exam for California? Just because you took the exam in CA, doesn't necessarily mean that it was for initial licensure in CA. If it was for CA, and was that long ago, definitely contact them.

i'm here again... :p

i received a letter from California Board of Registered Nursing last July 8 (18 days after my NCLEX-RN exam) writing that:

"i have passed the NCLEX-RN exam and i have met all other licensing requirements except for submitting a valid U.S. Social Security Number. since SSN is needed in order to issue a permanent RN license."

please advise me on what to do next....

i'm still here in the philippines while my application for immigrant visa is still on the process. somebody in New Jersey get me a lawyer to do the processing...all the required documents were submitted around 3rd week of march this year. do you have any idea how long is the waiting time?

What have you received from immigration as of yet? Have you completed your English exams? Do you apply for a Visa Screen Certificate?

Just so that you know, you actually do not have a CA lincese yet, so you are unable to endorse to NJ at this time, or wherever you will be working until you have the SSN#. That will not come unitl you are much further down the immigration procedure. Remember that you were under the retrogression until a few months ago.

Hi i am in the same boat. I gave exam on aug 19th and my result is not on web site yet. Does it mean that I failed nclex exam? I got only 79 questions during exam and I think I got most of the questions on priority and analysing and I believe that these kind of questions keep you above the passing line aren't they? can somebody give me some claarification on this? I called sacramento nursing office two times and both times they said that "my file is not processed yet. your result is not out yet and we will forward this messagae to the person who is handling results of your area " I am very stressed. Anybody has answer for me?
