Hello, I have a question and I cannot seem to find an answer or talk to someone about this. I am moving from MN to CA. I have a current and valid RN, BSN, PHN in MN and filled out all the paperwork, steps and things required for the CA license (and all the fee's!!). I sent it in over 2 weeks ago and on the http://www.breezes.ca.gov site it states that my application was received and open but missing education history. I submitted official transcripts to be sent over 4 weeks ago. I tried calling the Consumer Affairs number for Ca Board of Nursing but I get a message stating they are too busy, I have tried emailing but no answers back.
Is this typical behavior and response of the Board? How long does it usually take to get the temporary license and permanent one?
Thank you for any help, advice, direction that you may have. Thank you

Yeah....the CA BON is notorious for being behind and can take SEVERAL weeks!!!! They'll get to it...eventually.

There's a whole thread on the California nursing board on this website about this. You should check it out.
