Anybody else stuck in limbo waiting for the CA BRN to catch up? I have been waiting over a month for my ATT, and now there is a notification on the website that says it could take up to 90 days. I am so frustrated by this whole mess.

Same here!!!...they deducted my check way back in October 24, 2013. then they made me send additional requirements... iv been waiting soooooo looooong.. its messing up my study plan !!!!
Wow, October? That's crazy! What were the additional requirements they had you send? I sent my application in mid-December, my check was cashed January 23rd, and I still haven't heard a thing.

Definitely frustrating…and you aren't alone. Several people I know have had their job offers withdrawn because they didn't get their ATT and weren't able to test in time to start the program. Hang in there
pishoon, I am so sorry, that is just too long to wait. At least you're ahead of me. I really hope you hear something soon.
Thank you, SuperMurse. I had an interview for a new grad program on Monday and they straight up told me if I don't have my license by the time they schedule 2nd interviews (next Tuesday), I will have to wait and reapply to the next new grad program. I am hanging in there and trying to find the positives... more time off before I go off to work for the rest of my life? Meh. I'd still rather be making progress toward my goals.

Hi, march 2nd will be 90 days since they cashed my check. I am super frustrated and feeling discouraged. I need a light at the end of this tunnel. Studying just doesnt feel as focused anymore :-(
I know what you mean about not finding motivation to study through all of this. It's so hard to focus on the goal when there's no finish line in sight.
There was an article in the L.A. Times the other day that said 15 extra people are being being brought in to assist the regular staff so they can catch up on 4,000 applications that are sitting there waiting to be processed. If they have 18 people already working on it (according to the article), and add 15 more, and each of those people processes 10 applications a day, they should be through the pile in a few weeks. I hope it's true. Here's the link for anyone who wants to read it: Computer system upgrades delay licensing for nursing graduates - latimes.com

Me too just can't study. I did my Kaplan review class and studied with my study partner from school because she was one of the lucky ones to get a quick reply and scheduled her test 6 weeks after applying. Other than that I can't focus not until I'm all clear. Then it's on!
Wow. Thanks for posting that article. Put in on FB just so family and friends get what im talking about when they ask when am i gonna test. Unbelievable!

There is a new grad group on facebook. We've been supporting each other in many ways, especially with the BRN problems. Here's the link... https://www.facebook.com/groups/Newgradrncalifornia/
