CA BRN accusation

I recently had an accusation filed against my RN license due to a "failed" drug screen. I was notified of this and denied the diversion program because I believe it was a false positive and do not have any drug problems. I have been an RN for 10 years and have never had any issues - no disciplinary actions at any job, no complaints by patients or colleagues, nothing. I've also taken probably 20+ urine drug screens for various jobs, travel assignments, etc and have never had a positive result before. I met with an investigator after this problem test and explained that I am innocent, but the BRN still filed a formal accusation. I now have a lawyer and am trying to resolve this with no permanent record on my RN license. I am about to take NP boards and do not want to have to disclose any action against my license. I also can't get any work now because of the visible action on Breeze website. Any advice? Has anyone heard of BRN accusations being dismissed? I am willing to pay lots of money for a citation, just don't want it on my record for 3 years.
