BSN

Hey guys. Has anyone in PA graduated from Excelsior and gotten a job at a hospital? How long did it take you to finish the LPN to BSN? Help please! I don't want to do the program if I'm not going to get hired. I will be starting an LPN program in january and want to do the excelsior lpn to bsn because traditional nursing programs have crazy waiting lists. Thanks!

What region are you in? In my area (Philly), the BSN programs are merit based, no lottery-wait listing.

You need to check with your board of nursing regarding Excelsior. I did the program very quickly because I was highly motivated (less than a year). It is a great way to preserve your lifestyle and work while you go to school. There are a million posts about Excelsior in the Distance Learning category. Good luck!
