Plaza College BSN Program

Hello,

Is Plaza College's BSN Program in Forest Hills, New York legit? Has anyone graduated from there and got a job? Thanks!

There are ways to check if a school is a good option to attend:

  1. Check the state BON website for a list of approved programs
  2. Check the NCLEX pass rates
  3. Check the ACEN and CCNE sites for nursing program accreditation

@AllNurses1992 Hey, I am actually enrolling in Plaza this Spring. It is a new school so they had to go through the lengthy accreditation process but should be receiving their CCNE accreditation in May. I took my pre-requisites there, highly recommend.

They have a a misleading website with reference to a BIG CCNE graphic  that says:

The baccalaureate degree in nursing at Plaza College is pursuing initial accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, 655 K Street NW, Suite 750, Washington DC20001, 202-887-6791. Applying for accreditation does not guarantee that accreditation will be granted.

With a big CCNE image that  may infer to a casual reader they have that accreditation. I mean a really big CCNE image.
