BSN Podcast?

Hello all,

I just graduated and passed boards July 10, 2008. I am interested in furthering my education. I have six kids and this makes it impossible to take off anymore time for school. I was wondering if anyone has heard of a RN to BSN program that has podcast type lectures. I do not know if that is the right term I am looking for. I learn best by hearing and if possible seeing the information, rather than just reading it. I have seen colleges online that have podcasts of there lectures. I would like to find a online college that offers this type of learning enviroment....Anyone heard of this type of school??? Any advice will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I admire you for managing to go to school and passing the boards while taking care of six children. Your plan to further your education is even more impressive.

There are many schools that offer online BSN degree :typing, some of them are teleweb courses meaning that you will read the lectures, and also watch the videos. I did a lot (yes alot) of online courses and teleweb courses, I hated watching that video, I just like reading the lectures better. Teachers are always available if you don't understand something ( actually they like it if you approach them with questions and ask for guidance). The advantage of online classes is that the schedule is very flexible. You can print the lectures and read them while traveling on the train, or watching the kids in the park.

All the best for your career.:nurse:

Most of the classes I took at Florida Hospital College of Health Sciences RN to BSN (NLN approved) program had power point presentations as lectures. I did their program 100% online. One instructor even sent you a DVD of him lecturing. They also have one hour live classes once a week via a chat format. http://www.fhchs.edu/
