Florida is not considering this so relax. It's just a rumor. No state currently has this requirement. New York was considering it but dropped the idea.
ADNs enjoy and will continue to enjoy job opportunties in Florida.
(It would be an easier read if you only capitalize the first letter of each sentence rather than each word. Thanks)

This has been discussed in nursing for ~30 years now (at least!), and it's no closer to happening than it was 30 years ago. The only state that ever actually passed such a requirement (North Dakota, quite a while ago) rescinded the legislation a few years later because it obviously wasn't going to be workable.

For them to mandate that now would be Hospital suicide. Talk about a shortage! They could possibly lure some nurses by offering huge rate increases. I however, would retire. I keep certified in the things I need but I am done with anymore "nursing" school.

P.S. "They tried to make me go to BSN school, I said NO NO NO."
